Arizona Onstage Productions is devoted to bringing theater and musical theater that is unique, thought provoking, and often unexpected. Founded by Kevin Johnson in 2003, Arizona Onstage Productions has been the recipient of 18 Arizona Daily Star MAC Awards for excellence in the theater. Our education outreach involves students and professionals from the Tucson community.

The Arizona Rose Arts Organization is committed to creating positive experiences for performing artists, theatrical technicians, organizational staff, and audiences in Southern Arizona. The ARAO is dedicated to creating an environment that is welcoming to individuals of all backgrounds and accessible to individuals of all abilities with the goal of producing quality theater. The ARAO presents work that explores social issues and solutions, educates, inspires, and entertains audiences. The ARAO is also committed to creating artistic properties, producing existing works, and offering opportunities for artists to develop works in various mediums that are inclusive, educational, and entertaining.

With over 39 years of service in Southern Arizona, Arts Express Theatre is dedicated to building a better community through the arts! The mission of Arts ExpressTheatre is to build character, strengthen community and celebrate culture through the power of MUSICAL THEATRE. Arts Express unites diverse people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and income brackets (as cast and crew, as well as audience members).

Borderlands Theater strives to build equitable, joyful, and meaningful collaborations with the local community through plays, musicals, and site-specific theatrical experiences. Borderlands Theater is committed to responsive cultural programs ingrained in the heritage, narratives, and lived experiences of peoples rooted across the Sonoran Desert

Broadway in Tucson/A Nederlander Presentation is part of the nationally recognized Nederlander Producing Company of America. Since that first season, Broadway in Tucson has brought more than 1,100,000 patrons to the touring Broadway experience. In 2010, Broadway in Tucson partnered with UApresents (Now Arizona Arts Live) for a three-week, sold out engagement of the blockbuster musical Wicked at UA Centennial Hall which led to a new collaboration with Arizona Arts Live as the home of Broadway in Tucson. In 2013, Broadway in Tucson announced its new relationship and celebrated its 10th anniversary in its new venue, University of Arizona’s Centennial Hall, where it now presents five to six full week shows as well as special events each season.

The Desert Crown Theater Company was created in 2021 with the desire to foster a love for the theatrical arts in the Vail and Corona de Tucson communities. Our mission is to teach, inspire, and involve all members of the community in quality productions.

Detour Company Theatre provides theatre training and performance experiences  for adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities, giving them authentic opportunities to develop artistry, demonstrate courage and collaboration, experience joy and participate in the sharing of musical theatre with the entire community.

Everyone is welcome at the Gaslight Music Hall, where audiences can enjoy a mix of concerts, musical revues, family entertainment, and all-you-can-eat free popcorn presented in a warm and inviting environment. Groove to your favorite tunes while dining on delicious Grandma Tony's pizza, sandwiches, and salads; then wash it down with a delectable shake, malt, hand-dipped ice cream or sundae. The Gaslight Music Hall is Oro Valley's home for fun!

Since 1977, The Gaslight Theatre has provided Tucson the finest family entertainment in Arizona. We have musical comedy melodramas 6 nights a week, and 5 different shows per year. Westerns, sci-fi spoofs, our famous Christmas Shows, and everything in between- you can find it all here at The Gaslight! Cheer the hero and Boo the villain while enjoying your favorite beer or soft drink, pizza, ice cream, and mountains of free popcorn! We also have concerts every Monday night! Here at The Gaslight, we’re about great entertainment, great food, low prices, and giving you a fun place to forget about your troubles, sit back, relax, and laugh!

The Invisible Theatre (IT) of Tucson, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to producing quality theatre and arts education experiences for all facets of the community in an intimate setting that showcases local professional talent and guest artists.

We produce inclusive, accessible and affordable professional theatre and theatre education that entertains, educates and enlightens a diverse group of children, adults, and families. Live Theatre Workshop is a unique and special theatre. The artists, staff, board, and volunteers come together to create performances and theatre education because we love what we do, and because we want to bring the best theatre to Tucson. We believe that Tucson deserves a thriving theatre scene that is accessible to all who want to participate.

Next Stage is about theater that provokes. We stage contemporary works that take us beyond the familiar, that ask more questions than they answer, that open our minds to thoughts we sometimes submerge and our hearts to emotions we often suppress. We want to represent the cutting edge of Tucson theater.

We offer award-winning performances, hands-on workshops and custom-built figures and props. We’ve worked with Jim Henson Productions, Walt Disney Imagineering, Lucasfilm, PBS, NBC, the Lyric Opera of Chicago and many more.

The Rogue Theatre’s mission is to create the highest quality theatre possible, challenging, stretching, and invigorating our community. We emphasize LANGUAGE by placing primary value on quality language and literature, ENSEMBLE by developing a core group of performers who seek continuous improvement and creating an academy for training ourselves and emerging theatre artists, and CHALLENGING IDEAS by presenting plays with provocative points of view related to important social, political, and personal issues.

Saguaro City Music Theatre is a professional theatre company created to celebrate the classic American art form of musical theatre, bringing top-tier musical productions to the people of Tucson as well as offering inclusive, tuition-free musical theatre classes to children of all abilities.

The Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre creates immersive and imaginative experiences crafted for a diverse cross-generation audience. Our collaborative environment facilitates inquiry and inclusivity with the goal to inspire empathy and encourage discourse. The Scoundrel & Scamp celebrates the illumination power of the theatre arts to help us dream, question, and forge connections with one another.

TAZ Theatre Co. was founded in 2019 by Bill Dell to support and produce live theatre in Tucson, Arizona. The Company has provided education scholarship funding for Arts Express Theatre and production sponsorships for Scoundrel and Scamp Theatre. TAZ Theatre Company’s past production work includes a full production of “People, Places and Things” by Duncan MacMillan (May 2024), casting support for Next Stage Theatre’s production of “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to Gynecology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York” (November 2022), and a staged reading of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (February 2020).

Tucson Improv Movement brings laughter, joy and fun to the southern Arizona community through the art of improvisation. We've created a movement of positivity through our work in improv, sketch and stand-up comedy! Every week we bring you game-based comedy, played quickly and supported fearlessly, in our cool comedy theater located right off of historic Fourth Avenue in downtown Tucson.

Unscrewed Theater is dedicated to teaching and showcasing the art of improvisational theater as well as other unique forms of live entertainment. We foster a safe and supportive atmosphere in which artists can grow and explore their talent. We provide a venue to showcase these talents as to enrich our community through the art.

We tell stories to help make us all better humans. Our shows are explorations of our greatness and our malevolence, our strengths and our frailties, our virtues and vices. We explore ordinary and extraordinary lives as told through legends and myths, cautionary tales, farces, object lessons, and all other forms of expression available to us. Our shows reflect these human qualities back to our audiences, to illustrate how the choices we all make lead us to become the people we are today.
